Storyboarding
Often with longer videos or those involving complex movement and direction a storyboard will be vital. This is the blueprint of the production outlining each shot and the corresponding dialogue, narration and sound effects. At this stage we can develop the visual style of the video, establish the pace and rythym and iron out any issue with the flow and communication of the message.
As an animation studio, first and foremost, our experience storyboarding is long and diverse. We’ve storyboarded feature films, multi-part series and 30 second TVC’s.
After any dialogue recording we then produce an animatic – taking the still frames from the storyboard and cutting them together with the music and voice recording. This gives us further chance to refine the timing and rythym and makes the production process extremely efficient as we can use the animatic as the template to produce the final visuals to.
