‘Raglan’ now showing on AFI TV

Our Australian Film Commission funded short film, having finished its exclusive festival run around the shores of the Black Sea, is now playing on AFI TV.

Sinead’s defining story throughout her isolated childhood in a remote fishing village is that of her brother – swept away into the sea at birth where he now lives inside a magnificent fish, travelling the world and having incredible adventures. Her search for him will bring her to the desperate truth and her father to an inevitable confrontation.
‘Raglan’ is a simply told tale with many layers. It is about childhood imagination and loss of innocence but also touches on dealing with grief and the complexity of the most all pervading of relationships – that between parent and child.

This film was a labour of love, completed around all the commercial gigs, over a lengthy production process.
